About Us
Community and Law Enforcement Engagement Solutions (CLEES) exists to strengthen trust, reduce conflict, and build durable partnerships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.
Today’s public safety leaders face challenges that extend well beyond crime statistics. Recruitment and retention pressures, rising liability exposure, public scrutiny, and fractured community trust demand solutions that are both practical and human-centered. CLEES was created to meet those challenges head-on.
We specialize in community engagement training, Reverse Citizens Academies, facilitated dialogue programs, and data-informed engagement strategies designed specifically for municipalities, police departments, and community stakeholders. Our work helps agencies move from reactive crisis response to proactive trust-building—creating measurable improvements in morale, legitimacy, and public confidence.
Practitioner-Led. Community-Focused.
CLEES was founded by a career public safety professional with experience in both the fire service and law enforcement, currently serving as a full-time police officer, field training officer and mental health unit officer. This practitioner perspective ensures every program is grounded in real-world operational realities while remaining accessible, transparent, and respectful to the community.
We understand the pressures officers face on the street—and the expectations communities hold for fairness, accountability, and dignity. CLEES serves as a professional bridge between those perspectives.
What Makes CLEES Different
Neutral Facilitation: We create structured, safe environments where officers and community members can engage honestly and productively.
Operational Credibility: Programs are designed by someone who understands policy, training, and day-to-day policing realities.
Measurable Outcomes: We incorporate engagement metrics, community sentiment data, and participation tracking to demonstrate real impact.
Grant-Ready Solutions: Our programs are structured to align with DOJ and state grant funding, helping agencies implement solutions without straining local budgets.
Our Mission
To help communities and law enforcement agencies work with each other—building understanding, reducing unnecessary conflict, protecting officer careers, and improving the civic health of the communities they serve.
Our Approach
CLEES does not offer one-size-fits-all programming. Every engagement is tailored to the specific needs, culture, and goals of the agency and community involved. Whether through immersive academies, facilitated conversations, or data-driven assessments, our focus remains the same: engagement that is credible, constructive, and sustainable.
